Character Controller Deluxe!!

Character Controller Deluxe!! is a demo showcasing the development of Sonic and Mario character controllers. This demo consists of a playground area where you can play as either character.

This demo was created as part of my 4th year honours research project as a Game Design and Production Student at Abertay University. The aim of this project was to explore ways to develop adaptable and flexible 3d Character/Camera control systems wiht a high standard of UX. 

I aimed to achieve this by developing a base Character/Camera control system from the ground up, and then attempting to adapt it to create two characters, Sonic and Mario. This means that in this demo, the Sonic and Mario character controllers rely on the same underlying systems to function!

Controls will be shown in-game while playing. Supports Controller and Keyboard/Mouse (Controller highly recommended).
